Students Sean O’Neil and Carolyn Zech claimed a victory during the intense and long-winded competition, which was organized by the Connecticut Debate Association (CDA). Members of the Redding Police Department were dispatched to the home of Peter Valenti, 32, on April 11, 2016, after he sent multiple text messages to friends seeking police help. The Connecticut State Department of Transportation has alerted the Town of Redding’s Highway Department that Black Rock Turnpike (Route 58) has will begin a paving project at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 24. Motorists have been advised that they can expect delays and to seek alternate routes, when possible.
