In another win for Republicans, Marc Molinaro has prevailed over Democrat Josh Riley in New York’s 19th Congressional District, NBC News projects.
Molinaro, the Dutchess County executive, was leading Riley 51.1 to 48.9 percent with 99 percent of the vote counted as of Wednesday evening, Nov. 9.

The race for Connecticut's 5th Congressional District between Democratic US Rep. Jahana Hayes and Republican challenger George Logan is still too close to call, with the results containing national implications for which party will control Congress.
