Travel Restrictions Issued For Dutchess
Travel in Dutchess County has been restricted to strictly emergency vehicles, plows DPW trucks and other essential services as the worst of the winter weather is expected to hit Hudson Valley on Wednesday afternoon. Dutchess County Executive Marcus Molinaro announced on Wednesday afternoon that as of 5 p.m. on Wednesday, there will be restricted travel as the county is under a State of Emergency. Winter Weather Advisory For Northern Fairfield County As Snow Approaches
FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- A winter weather advisory is in effect for northern Fairfield County until Wednesday afternoon, with 2 to 6 inches of snow expected to hit the area overnight, according to the National Weather Service. The advisory is in effect from midnight to 1 p.m. Wednesday. Total snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches is expected to hit the northern part of the county, with localized amounts of up to 6 inches possible.
