State Police ID Men Killed In Mercer County Crash Where Watermelons Were Strewn On NJ Turnpike
State Police have identified the two men killed in last week's tractor-trailer crash in which watermelons were strewn across the New Jersey Turnpike in Mercer County.
Malcom Cope, 55, of Douglas, Georgia, and Van Huston, 56, of Jamaica, New York, were pronounced dead after the northbound truck veered off the turnpike, struck a guard rail and slammed into a concrete bridge support near milepost 60.3, state troopers said.
Cope was the driver and Huston was a passenger.

Authorities: Car Burglar Admits Breaking Into 2,000 Vehicles In New Jersey, Pennsylvania
Authorities have arrested a suspect who admits breaking into about 2,000 vehicles in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
Keith A. Johnson, 33, of Yardley, in Bucks County, PA, is charged with numerous counts of theft and burglary, as well as 76 counts of loitering/prowling at night, according to the Bucks County District Attorney's office.
Johnson also admitted to stealing $140,000 in cash during a burglary in Philadelphia, detectives said in court papers, according to NJ Advance Media.
When police searched Johnson's home, they found $30,000 in cash, plus items stolen from cars, they said.

Robbinsville Motorcyclist, 24, Killed In Crash
A 24-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a crash with an SUV Saturday in Robbinsville, police said.
The Robbinsville man was unconscious after the Route 130 crash at Woodside Road around 11:30 a.m., and was transported to RWJ Hamilton, where he died, authorities said.
The motorcyclist's identity was not being released, pending notification of kin.
The SUV driver, an 80-year-old Hamilton resident, was not injured, police said.
The cause was under investigation as of Saturday afternoon.

A pair of thieves from Trenton stockpiled more than $380,000 worth of stolen landscaping equipment during the past year before selling top-of-the-line mowers on Facebook, authorities said.
Clint Riley, 39 and Kevin Cedeno-Ruiz, 24, hit several storage yards, lifting an assortment of leaf blowers, lawnmowers, edgers and weed-whackers, Hamilton police said in a release.
They then sold high-priced industrial lawn mowers -- eXmark, Toro and Bobcat, among other models -- for up to $30,000 apiece, they said.
