Oakland Man, 19, Dies In Morris County Crash
A 19-year-old Oakland resident died in a Morris County crash, authorities said. The man was headed northbound on Green Pond Road near the Jefferson border in a Mercedes Benz when he crossed into the southbound lanes and hit a Mazda Friday morning, Rockaway Township Police Lt. Paul Reilly said. The Mazda driver, a 24-year-old woman from Sussex Borough, was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries, Reilly said. : Morris County Country Club Bartender Hid Cameras In Women's Bathroom
A 50-year-old bartender at a Rockaway Township country club is accused of hiding several strategically-placed cameras around the women's bathroom, according to a new report. A woman using the bathroom in the White Meadow Lake Clubhouse on Sunday saw one of the cameras and called police, the Daily Record says citing court documents. John P. Daley of Flanders -- a bartender at the Clubhouse -- initially told authorities he was unaware of the key fob-like recording devices but later admitted to places the cameras in both bathrooms to "view unknown females' private areas," the report says. Rockaway Family Escapes Weekend Blaze
A Rockaway family of five escaped a weekend fire that destroyed part of their house, township officials said. Two parents and three children were staying with a neighbor after a blaze that started in their Whitfield Court chimney spread into the attic Saturday evening, Councilman Tucker Kelley said. "The parents and their three children have received temporary housing and many of their belongings were saved as well," Kelley said. Responders included firefighters from Rockaway Township, Rockaway Borough, Boonton, Denville, Kinnelon, Picatinny and West Milford.

Rockaway Mayor's Suit Against Council Is Remarkably Familiar
Former Rockaway Township Mayor Michael Dachisen was in the midst of a lawsuit against the Township council, alleging his authority was being overstepped. GLEN ROCK, N.J. -- A motorist on crack drove onto a Glen Rock resident's lawn -- uprooting shrubs in the process -- where police found her passed out behind the wheel, authorities said. Officers who responded to Prospect Street near Locust Road just before 6 a.m. Friday found 47-year-old Kelley J.
