A 26-year-old man was busted with a variety of drugs, including 72 glassine envelopes of heroin during a traffic stop.
Kevin Lamastro of Poughkeepsie was arrested around 6:30 p.m. Friday after the vehicle he was riding in was pulled over on River Road in Grassy Point for a stop sign violation, said Stony Point Police Lt. Daniel Hylas.

Woman Caught Attempting To Cash Fake Check Worth $1.9K At Rockland Bank, Police Say
A 49-year-old woman is behind bars and facing three felony charges after attempting to cash a fake check worth more than $1,900 at a bank in Rockland County, according to police.
The woman, Kiera Isbell, allegedly entered the Chase Bank in Sparkill on Tuesday, Oct. 16 at around 1:45 p.m. and attempted to case the check, Orangetown Police said.

Duo Stole $1.2K In Merchandise From Palisades Mall Lord & Taylor, Police Say
Two men were nabbed with more than $1,000 in goods allegedly stolen from the Lord & Taylor at the Palisades Mall in West Nyack.
The men, both from Queens, were arrested after Clarkstown police responded to the mall for a report of shoplifting, said Clarkstown Police Det. Sgt. Peter Walker.
The suspects, Juan Hernandez, 30, of Elmhurst, and Jeffrey Giraldo, 32, of Jackson Heights, were reportedly observed by loss prevention employees taking merchandise valued at $1,213.70, Walker said. The merchandise consisted of clothing.
