Elvin Mejiagomez, 35, was arrested around 2:20 p.m. Monday, Feb. 4, after a Rockland County Sheriff's patrol officers, observed Mejiagomez driving a vehicle in Kennedy Dells Park with his dog on the roof, creating a hazardous situation, the department said. Once stopped, deputies found that Mejiagomez was allegedly driving drunk and had alcohol in the vehicle, the Sheriff's Office said. Police said that Heim is known to frequent Nyack and Pearl River, and her last known address was in Nyack. Investigators said that she may still be living in the Orangetown area. Heim was described as 5-foot-5 with blonde hair and green eyes by investigators. Scam Alert: Fake Callers Pose As Sheriff In Rockland The Rockland County Sheriff’s Office is issuing an alert in regard to a series of phone scams involving the impersonation of an officer. The caller allegedly identified themselves as Sheriff Devan and stated that the victim had to “resolve an issue or they would be subject to arrest.” When the caller was questioned further they hung up. The phone numbers identified were 845-259-5869 and 845-658-0025, neither of which belong to the Sheriff’s Office. Catherine Beltempo, 34, is wanted by police in Ramapo on charges that include larceny and criminal possession of a forged instrument dating back to an incident at Walmart in Suffern. Beltempo is also wanted by the Rockland County Sheriff’s Office. Police described Beltempo, 33, as a 5-foot-2 woman with brown hair and brown eyes.
