Two drivers received serious injuries during a head-on crash in Suffern. The crash took place around 8 p.m., Thursday, March 28, on Orange Avenue, after an 83-year-old Valley Cottage man driving a Mercedes-Benz suffered a medical episode and lost control of his vehicle, Suffern Police said. Worker Killed After Falling Into Mixing Machine At Area Cheese Company
A 41-year-old man was killed after falling into a mixing machine at the Icco Cheese Company in Rockland County. The incident took place around 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 15 at the plant on Olympic Drive in Orangeburg, said Orangetown Police Sgt. James Sullivan. A woman allegedly driving while on drugs is facing charges after hospitalizing a motorcyclist and attempting to leave the scene, police said. Late on Saturday, Dec. 22, officers from the Ramapo Police Department were dispatched to Route 59 in Airmont - near Walmart - where there was a report of a hit-and-run crash involving a woman in a car and a motorcyclist. Two employees received facial injuries following an explosion at a sewer construction site in Rockland County. The incident took place around 2:34 p.m. Monday on Route 17 in Sloatsburg at the "Metra Construction" site, said the Ramapo Police Department. Some quick-acting police officers in Rockland County may have saved the life of a potential overdose victim in Airmont. Members of the Ramapo Police Department were dispatched to an Airmont home late on Labor Day, where there was a report of a male overdose victim. The officers jumped into action, administering Naloxone (Narcan) to the victim, who was revived. Kaylyn Wynne, 21, of Monroe, was killed when she was thrown from a 2012 Jeep Wrangler after the 22-year-old driver hit a dump truck about 10:30 p.m. Saturday, said Lt. A man who overdosed on heroin and crashed his vehicle into a stand of trees in Orangeburg was saved by the use of Narcan. Keith Brady, 32, of New City was discovered around 5:15 a.m. Wednesday when Orangetown Police responded to a report of a single-vehicle crash at 94 Old Orangeburg Road, said Det. Sgt.
