Two local men were attacked in a pair of back-to-back stabbings in South Brunswick, MyCentralJersey.com reported. At 7:50 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 8, police received a call from the first man seeking medical attention at the Home Depot on Route 1, South Brunswick Police Lt. DWI Driver Charged With Child Endangerment: West Windsor Police
A drunk driver from South Jersey was charged with child endangerment following a traffic stop in Mercer County, authorities said. Christian P. Exley, of Voorhees, was pulled over for driving erratically on Route 1 & Quakerbridge Road shortly after 1:50 a.m. on Sunday, June 12, West Windsor Police said in a release on Wednesday, July 13. Police have identified the 40-year-old man killed in a collision with a tractor-trailer. Kendall Campbell, of New Brunswick, was driving north on Route 1 near New Road when the crash occurred about 12:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 12, South Brunswick police said. Campbell got stuck under the rear of a tractor-trailer driven by a 56-year-old man from Somerset, police said. Nearly a dozen pairs of designer sunglasses worth about $4,500 were stolen from a Mercer County mall, authorities said. A man and woman stole 11 pairs of glasses from Sunglass Hut at the Market Fair Mall on Route 1 around 1:50 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 28, local police said in a release on Wednesday, March 9. Authorities have released the names of the victims killed in an Edison crash. Ziyad Elsaedi, 21, of North Plainfield, was heading southbound in Route 1 when he struck a tree at Jeff Street around 10:15 p.m., on Feb. 6, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Edison Police Chief Thomas Bryan said. Meyvelin Nunez-Lopez, 19, of Plainfield — who was in the front passenger seat — died. Two other passengers were critically injured, authorities said.
