! Parsippany PD Reminds Motorists To Obey Law After Officer Injured
Parsippany police are reminding drivers to move one lane over after one motorist failed to do that and injured an officer. The officer was pulled over on Route 10 Wednesday to help a disabled Wegmans tractor-trailer when he was slammed from behind by a Nissan Altima just west of Tabor Road on the westbound side of the highway around 6:20 p.m., Parsippany Police Sgt. Brian Conover said. The patrol vehicle, which the officer was inside of at the time of the crash, was pushed forward into the rear or the disabled trailer. : Succasunna Movie Theater Closing
That's a wrap for the Cinépolis Cinemas in Succasunna. The Roxbury Mall's movie theater will be closing Sunday less than three years after taking over at the Route 10 location. "We would like to thank everyone who has visited this theater over the years, and we hope that you continue your support of cinema-going after we are gone," the theater said on its website. Any unused tickets must be refunded by Jan. 5. The theater urged the public to head to its newly-renovated theater in Hackettstown, which will remain open.

7 CT Teens Caught: Stolen Westchester Car Slams Police Vehicle In Morris-To-Willowbrook Chase
A car stolen out of Westchester that was packed with seven teenage members of a New Haven-based vehicle theft ring rammed a police cruiser in a pre-dawn chase that began in Morris County and ended with another crash at the Willowbrook Mall in Wayne, authorities said. Livingston Utility Pole Crash Shuts Columbia Turnpike In Florham Park Overnight
A Tuesday morning Livingston crash that downed power lines and a utility pole closed Columbia Turnpike into Florham Park. The roadway at Vreeland Road will remain close overnight into Wednesday, police said. A detour through East Hanover to Route 10 was in place Tuesday evening.

A man who shot himself in the leg during a Randolph firearms training course was a gun safety officer, according to a new report. An Edgewater man conspired with the owner of a shuttered go-go bar to use stolen credit card information – and illegally acquired gift cards – to steal more than $12 million, authorities said.
