Central Jersey Motorist, 52, Killed In Tractor-Trailer Crash
A 52-year-old man from Somerset County died in a collision with a tractor-trailer, authorities said. The motorist, whose name had not been released, was pronounced dead at the scene of the Friday evening crash, South Brunswick police said on Saturday. First responders were called to the crash on Route 130 at 7:16 p.m., police said. A preliminary investigation found that the tractor-trailer was stopped at a traffic light and the passenger car read-ended it. A 40-year-old pedestrian from Burlington County was struck and killed on Route 130, authorities said. On Monday at about 10 p.m., Florence police, firefighters and EMS crews responded to the 2000 block of Route 130 south on a report of a serious car-pedestrian collision, according to township police. Authorities have identified the victim who died in a four-car crash last Friday morning on Route 130 as a 21-year-old mom from New Brunswick. Ceidy Antunez was heading northbound when her car sideswiped a vehicle stopped at a light waiting to turn left onto Adams Lane, then rear-ended a box truck, pushed into a fourth car around 7:20 a.m., North Brunswick police said. Motorist Killed In South Brunswick Crash
A driver suffered fatal injuries in a crash Thursday evening in Middlesex County, authorities said. The two-car collision occurred before 7 p.m. near the intersection of Route 130 and Deans Rhode Hall Road, according to initial reports. Route 130 southbound was closed for several hours. Both cars' drivers were taken to Robert Woods Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, where one of the victims died a short time later, police said. South Brunswick Driver, 34, Falls Asleep, Hits Utility Pole
A 34-year-old motorist fell asleep while driving in Middlesex County and struck a utility pole before veering off the road, authorities said. The driver from Hillsborough was westbound on Dey Road about 9 a.m. when her 2021 vehicle crossed into the eastbound lane as the Tesla approached a curve, police said. The car struck a pole on the shoulder, ripping off the right front tire before coming to rest in a cornfield. The driver was not hurt but her Tesla was wrecked. Police were not sure if the Tesla was in auto-pilot mode when the crash occurred about a half-mile from Route 130.

Report: Amazon Driver Dumping Packages In NJ Woods Told Police They Were Feces
An Amazon driver caught dumping packages into a South Jersey wooded area tried telling police the items were feces, according to a recent news report. The deliveryman later identified as Desmond Gould, 23, of Delaware, was spotted by a Logan Township (Gloucester County) police officer on Route 130 Nov. 2, throwing a large box from the van into the woods, NJ.com reports. An affidavit says Gould told the officer he was throwing his feces into the woods, but after the officer checked, he found that they were really undelivered packages that Gould had no intention of delivering, police said.
