Video: Route 208 Rollover In Hawthorne Sends 2 To Hospital HAWTHORNE, N.J. -- Two people were hospitalized after one of two cars involved in a Tuesday night crash on northbound Route 208 in Hawthorne rolled over. Injuries for both didn't appear life-threatening. The crash near Lincoln Avenue temporarily closed the highway. Hawthorne police firefighters and EMS were assisted by police from Glen Rock and Ridgewood. A paramedic team from The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood assisted their local colleagues with patient evaluation.  The rolled-over vehicle was removed from the scene by a flatbed tow truck. Boyd A. Franklin Lakes Driver Killed By Live Wire Identified As Wanaque Dad A Wanaque father has been identified as the driver who was incinerated Thursday morning by a live utility wire in Franklin Lakes. Anthony Gonzalez, a father of three, died after driving around traffic cones and trying to move a downed wire in that was blocking Summit Avenue near the intersection of Route 208 just before 9 a.m., authorities said. Responding officers found the SUV fully engulfed on Summit Avenue near the intersection of Route 208 just before 9 a.m., Capt. John Bakelaar said.
