An out-of-state driver zapped the owner of a Little Ferry impound lot with a stun gun when he couldn't get his car back, authorities charged. Leon Henry, 29, of Wilmington, NC, had been stopped and issued summonses early Monday, Dec. 12, for, among other offenses, having fictitious plates and driving an unregistered vehicle, Little Ferry Police Chief James Walters said. An armed New York man was motivated by road rage when he followed a victim into the parking lot of an Exxon gas station on Route 46 in Mount Olive and initiated a vicious beatdown using a tire iron, authorities charged. UPDATE: A 19-year-old motorcyclist was killed in last week’s crash on Route 46, authorities confirmed. The crash occurred between the motorcyclist and a Jeep Cherokee on Route 46 at Village Way in Mount Olive during the afternoon on Thursday, Nov. 10, a Morris County Prosecutor’s spokesperson told DailyVoice.com. The victim was taken to Hackettstown Medical Center and pronounced dead shortly after. The crash remains under investigation by the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office. No further details were available.

Two Houlihan's locations in North Jersey have closed, NJ Advance Media reports. The Bridgewater and Parsippany restaurants apparently closed on Sept. 28, the outlet said. Recognize them? Police are seeking the public’s help identifying two men they say racked up a bill of nearly $11,000 using a fraudulent credit card at a Speedway gas station in Warren County. A stolen vehicle pursuit ended with the arrests of three suspects after a crash on Route 46 in Wayne.
