Authorities Release ID Of Woman Killed In South Jersey Motel
Authorities released the identity of a woman who was killed last week inside a Maple Shade motel room. Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina and Maple Shade Police Chief Christopher J. Fletcher asked the public for assistance with the homicide investigation. The victim was identified as 36-year-old Michelle L. Johnston, who had lived in multiple locations recently in the Burlington and Camden county areas. A woman was found dead in an apparent homicide at a South Jersey motel, authorities said. The unidentified victim's body was found inside a room at the Bel-Air Motor Lodge in Maple Shade, Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina said. The investigation began just before 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 11, when police were called to the motel in the 2800 block of Route 73 for a report of an unresponsive female, Coffina said. A 33-year-old Philadelphia man has been arrested and charged for setting multiple fires in one business and damaging others during a string of burglaries in Camden County, authorities said. Police ID Man, 33, Killed By Car In South Jersey
A 33-year-old man was struck and killed by a car on Route 73 in South Jersey, authorities said. Michael Macintosh was struck near the Willow Road intersection just before 2 a.m. in Maple Shade, local police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver stopped and was cooperative with authorities, and the crash remains under investigation. A 54-year-old Philadelphia man who abducted a woman walking along a Mount Laurel highway last year, has admitted to sexually attacking her, authorities said. Donald Cramer, Jr., of Philadelphia, pleaded guilty to a first-degree attempted sexual assault charge on Thursday in Superior Court, according to Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina. The victim was a woman in her 50s from Marlton, Coffina said. Cramer Jr. will be sentenced to 18 years in state prison under his plea agreement, Coffina said. A 44-year-old man from Marlton who rammed another vehicle during a road-rage incident was arrested, authorities said. Adam S. Franchio and the driver of another car, a 30-year-old Trenton woman, got into an argument Monday along Route 73 at Baker Boulevard, Evesham police said in a statement.
