The Madison Square Garden Company has announced that show is the “unprecedented” 64th consecutive show by Joel, an MSG Franchise and internationally acclaimed, six-time Grammy-winning New Yorker. The 70th birthday show is part of Joel’s residency at The World’s Most Famous Arena, which started in January 2014 with Joel putting on one show per month at MSG. A group known as the Sag Harbor Partnership raised money to buy Sag Harbor Cinema from its owner Gerald Mallow in 2017 and has continued to raised funds to rebuild the landmark theater. The new Center will carry on the tradition of exceptional programming and expand to include a new not-for-profit, the Sag Harbor Cinema Arts Cente. Wersba has written more than two dozen novels for both children and teens/young adults.
