An unruly student who stole another kid's shoes at school is facing charges after becoming combative with administrators in a Maryland middle school. In Charles County, a spokesperson for the sheriff’s office said that on Thursday, Sept. 29, a student at General Smallwood Middle School in Indian Head stole a pair of shoes during an incident in the building. A Fairfield County high school was put on lockdown following a fight involving at least 10 students. The fight took place around 7:30 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 27 at Bunnell High School in Stratford. Three Northern Westchester Districts Will Get School Resource Officers
County Executive George Latimer has authorized the Westchester County Police Department to provide School Resource Officers to the Lakeland, Somers and Hendrick Hudson school districts.
