This Bath Mat Could Be Key To Solving PA Infant's 1993 Death, State Police Say Nearly 30 years after an infant girl was found dead in a trash bag off the side of a Schuylkill County backroad, state police investigators are still trying to learn her name.  The child, known to authorities only as Baby Jane Doe, was lifeless when she was found in New Castle Township on June 13, 1993, troopers said in a release. She was wrapped in a blanket and a bath mat before being placed in the bag, state police said. 2 Vehicle Rollover Crash Spills Fuel On I-81 In Lebanon County: PennDOT A crash involving an SUV and a tractor-trailer has shuttered part of Interstate 81 in Lebanon County, PennDOT spokesperson Fritzi Schreffler told Daily Voice.  The crash happened at mile marker 92 in Southern Lebanon County just before 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday, May 30, 2023.  The tractor-trailer overturned and spilled diesel fuel— closing both lanes through Exit 100 into Schuylkill County, according to Schreffler.  It is unclear if anyone was hurt.  Follow Daily Voice for updates.

85-Year-Old Victim ID'd In Schuylkill County Crash Authorities have identified the victim of a fatal crash in Schuylkill County.  Ruth Bressler, 85, of West Brunswick Township, died from injuries sustained in a crash near State Routes 61 and 895 just after 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 4, said Lehigh County Coroner Daniel A. Buglio in a statement.  Officials said Bressler was driving and that she was "in collision with other motor vehicles," but they did not say what led to the crash. Her cause of death has been ruled an accident.  The incident remains under investigation by state police, the coroner added.
