2 Arrested In Schuylkill County Shooting Death, State Police Say Two men were arrested for their involvement in the shooting death of a 27-year-old man in Schuylkill County, authorities said. Michael Robert Angelo, 51, of Seltzer, and James W. Fitzpatrick, of Pottsville, were apprehended Wednesday and charged with first-degree murder, third-degree murder, aggravated assault, possession of instruments of a crime, simple assault, and recklessly endangering another person, according to Pennsylvania State Police. Man Killed In Schuylkill County Parking Lot Crash With Pillar A 67-year-old man died after hitting a pillar in a store parking lot Wednesday in Schuylkill County, authorities said. Arnold Kremmerer was rushed to the hospital after the 2:45 p.m. crash at 45 Plaza Ln., in Tamaqua (Rush Township), the Lehigh County Coroner's Office said. The cause of death was blunt force injuries.  The Nesquehoning man was pronounced dead at at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest around 4:30 p.m., officials said. In addition to this office, this death is being investigated by the Pennsylvania State Police, Frackville Barracks.

PA Bicyclist Dies After Hitting Parked Car A Schuylkill County bicyclist died nearly two weeks after he hit a parked car last month, authorities announced. John Rich Jr. was involved in the crash on Thursday, May 20 in Pottsville, and died at  Lehigh Valley Hospital on Monday, the Lehigh County coroner's office. Rich died of injuries suffered in the crash. He was 69 years old.

The boy was riding an ATV and turning behind a garage on the property of a Hazel Street property at the same time as the trailer around 11:40 a.m. in Delano, Pennsylvania State Police said. The trailer driver did not see the boy and struck him with the rear, right tires, police said. The child was later pronounced dead. No further information was released.
