UPDATE: Authorities have identified the driver killed Monday night in a five-car collision on the Tacony-Palmyra Bridge. Gerardo Francisco Perez Martinez, 35, of Camden died in the head-on crash, according to the Burlington County Prosecutor's Office. The investigation into the cause of the collision is ongoing. A $5,000 reward has been offered to gain the public’s help in solving the fatal shooting of a 32-year-old man in Beverly City two months ago, authorities said. A 30-year-old Atlantic City man has been arrested for selling drugs that resulted in a fatal overdose, authorities said. Kahlil Carpenter, 30, of the 1800 block of Marmora Avenue, was charged with first-degree strict liability for drug-induced death and other drug-related charges, according to Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina and Evesham Township Police Chief Christopher Chew. A Burlington County man was sentenced to eight years in state prison for causing the death of a 21-year-old college student who overdosed on fentanyl-laced heroin that she purchased from him, authorities said.
