A Mega Millions ticket sold at a Sunoco in the township matched four of the five numbers along with the gold mega ball earning the winner $30,000 in the drawing held on Friday, Dec. 8. NJ Cell Tower Picked Up On Dispatcher Uploading Child Porn: Police
A police dispatcher in Hudson County was arrested on child porn charges, authorities said. An investigation into Jason De. Lewis, 39, who is a dispatcher and for the Harrison Police Department, began in October 2023, Secaucus Police Chief Dennis Miller said. Secaucus police had gotten a tip that a file depicting child sexual abuse material was viewed/uploaded to an account that was logged into an IP address, which hit off of a cellular tower within Secaucus, Miller said. A 54-year-old Kinnelon resident was arrested for punching a nurse after he was taken to a hospital during the Giants game on Sunday, Nov. 26, police said. Todd Lent, clearly not thrilled at having to watch the 2-8 New England Patriots face the 3-8 New York Giants at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, had to be taken to Hudson Regional Hospital because he was so intoxicated, Secaucus police said. As part of an effort to combat vice-related crimes, eight people were arrested in Secaucus on Friday, Nov. 17 as part of a prostitution sting, authorities said. At 6:55 p.m., police arrested Johanny Ledesma, a 45-year-old resident of the Bronx for engaging in prostitution, Secaucus Police Chief Dennis Miller said. A 29-year-old New York resident was arrested on Tuesday, Nov. 14 in Secaucus after a police dog sniffed out large quantities of ecstasy and cocaine on him, authorities said. At 8:23 p.m., police saw Noah Gregg improperly park his 2009 Acura TL, Secaucus Police Chief Dennis Miller said. The license plate affixed to his vehicle was not on file, Miller said. A woman was arrested for kidnapping and two suspects remain at-large as Secaucus police continue their investigation into the sale of narcotics at motels in the town, authorities said. Police found one member of an illicit drug distribution ring was kidnapped at knifepoint in Jersey City in June 2023, since he owed Erica Festino, another member of the drug ring, money, police said. Jersey City Teen Busted For 10 Vehicle Break-Ins: Secaucus Police
A 16-year-old Jersey City teenage boy was arrested and charged with breaking into 10 vehicles in Secaucus on Friday, Nov. 3, authorities said. The break-ins occurred throughout Secaucus and all the vehicles were unlocked, police said. He was charged with numerous counts of conspiracy to commit burglary, conspiracy to commit theft, burglary and theft, police said. He was issued a juvenile complaint summons and released into custody of an adult, police said.

A suicidal man was found unharmed in a train station bathroom after a search that placed Hudson County schools on lockdown Friday, Oct. 27, authorities said. Secaucus Man Sexually Assaulted Teen Girl: Prosecutors
A 30-year-old Secaucus man was arrested and charged with sexually assaulting a teenage girl in 2022 and 2023, authorities said. Anyelo Jimenez-Marte committed sex crimes on the girl, who was between 14 and 15 years old on various dates in a Secaucus apartment, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. The girl was known to Jiminez-Marte, Suarez said. Jiminez-Marte was charged with sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child, Suarez said. He is being detained at the Hudson County Correctional Facility, pending an arraignment, Suarez said.

Woman Shoplifted Kohl's Three Times: Secaucus PD
The third time shoplifting Kohl's was not the charm for a 26-year-old Jersey City resident. Britney Lockett was arrested on Wednesday, Oct. 11 and charged with shoplifting Kohl's in Secaucus three different times over the summer, Secaucus Police Chief Dennis Miller said. Lockett was charged with shoplifting from Kohl's on July 31, August 1 and August 3, police said. James Palmer, a 24-year-old Jersey City resident was charged in connection the initial shoplifting incident, police said. Lockett was issued three complaint summonses and released from police custody, police said.
