The owner of a small restaurant that serves up some of the best hot dogs around is attempting to go up against a national leasing corporation saying it is violating his lease agreement by bringing in the mega-popular Shake Shack. Finds No Wrong Doing By Shake Shack After Officers Get Sick From Milkshakes
NYPD officials said an investigation into a potential poisoning of three officers who purchased milkshakes at Shake Shack found "no criminality" by the restaurant's employees. The incident took place on Monday, June 15, when three NYPD officers from the 42nd Precinct in the Bronx were on duty in Manhattan when they began not feeling well after drinking the milkshakes from the Shake Shack at 200 Broadway, said the NYPD. More than a dozen stores at Westfield's Garden State Plaza in Paramus will begin offering curbside pickup as nonessential businesses in New Jersey begin their reopening. A popular Westchester County hamburger spot has temporarily closed after one of its employees tested positive for the novel coronavirus. The Shake Shack, located in Hartsdale at 379 N. Central Ave. in the Dalewood Shopping Center, has posted a notice on its doorway announcing they learned of the positive test on Monday, March 16, and immediately closed the restaurant. The Shake Shack dream is about to become a reality in Hoboken. The burger joint is expected to open in the second quarter of this year, according to Michael Rawlins of RIPCO Real Estate, the company that represents Shake Shack in New Jersey.
