Dead Dog Found On Railroad Tracks In Shippensburg, Police Say
A dog wearing a pink collar was found dead in Shippensburg on Thursday, March 21, area police announced around 9 a.m. The dog was described "as a small female Golden Retriever mix dog," the police stated in the release. It was found dead on the railroad tracks near the 300 block of South Washington Street around 8:48 a.m., police detailed. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Cumberland Valley Animal.

A 70-year-old Shippensburg resident is in the hospital in Maryland following a fire on Tuesday evening, Pennsylvania State Police announced on Thursday, Feb. 1. Deborah Westbrook's single-family home at 303 Dwelling Court had a fire break out near the entryway at 5:48 p.m. on Jan. 30, Trooper First Class Kemerer detailed in the release.
