'Our Lives Are Shattered,' Says Mom Of NJ Skier, 22, Paralyzed From Neck Down In Accident
The family of a 22-year-old New Jersey skier is asking for support following a March accident on the mountain that left him paralyzed from the neck down.
More than $135,800 had been raised on a GoFundMe for Anthony Mouravski, of Short Hills, as of Tuesday.
Anthony -- a nearly professional, freestyle skier -- was skiing with family on March 13 when he lost control during a straight jump, his mom, Tatiana Mouravskaia said.
Anthony tried to break the fall, but couldn't. He ended up fracturing his spine and is a quadriplegic at the C5 level, his mom said.

A gang of burglars used bricks and rocks to break into at least 40 pharmacies in Hudson, Bergen and several other counties, targeting specific prescription drugs that they could sell, federal authorities said.
Ten men, all from Jersey City, were charged in the three-month spree following an investigation led by Secaucus police, Acting U.S. Attorney Rachael A. Honig said Tuesday.

Report: GNC Closes Additional 40 New Jersey Stores
After filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in June, GNC has announced closures of an additional 40 stores.
The nutritional supplement company had originally planned on closing just 10 stores.
According to NJ.com, the following 50 stores have either closed, or will soon:
