Updated: FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. — When you looked outside Thursday, all you could likely see was blowing snow and giant piles of the white stuff. But very few people want to trudge out into the storm with a ruler to measure how much snow had fallen across Fairfield County. And as it turns out, some of the snow totals were higher than expected from the nor'easter. A few locations in Connecticut recorded over a foot of snow. Tractor-Trailer Crashes Down Embankment On I-84
This story has been updated A tractor-trailer overturned after crashing down an embankment on I-84, initially blocking the right lane in Fishkill, according to the New York State Police. Trooper AJ Hicks said the crash occurred around 11:30 a.m. near Lime Kiln Road on Thursday during the height of the snowstorm. The eastbound lane of the roadway was closed, causing stop-and-go traffic and delays up to 20 minutes. There were no injuries reported.

Cuomo: State Of Emergency Order Includes Westchester
With winds whipping up and snow continuing to fall, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo has issued a State of Emergency for downstate New York, which includes Westchester County.
