Police seek the public's help locating a robbery suspect who sprayed the store clerk with a chemical agent, authorities said. At 12:54 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 28, an armed robbery occurred at the Somers Point News and Tobacco located at 501 New Road, Somers Point police said. The suspect fled with unspecified items on a bicycle, police said. He was described as a white or Hispanic male wearing a yellow or light green jacket. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Somers Point Police Department at 609-927-6161.

Man, 34, Shot Dead In Atlantic County: Prosecutor
A 34-year-old man was shot to death in Atlantic County, authorities said. Somers Point police responded to a 9-1-1 emergency call on Thursday, Feb. 10, at 8:26 p.m. about a shooting at 50 Mays Landing Road. Police found Joshua Hannah of Somers Point suffering from gunshot wounds, according to Acting Atlantic County Prosecutor Cary Shill. A family in South Jersey lost their home and dog, and possibly their cat, in a raging fire, according to Breaking AC. The fire broke out on the 300 block of Superior Road in the Fountain Lakes Development in Egg Harbor Township at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 1. The family and four dogs escaped safely but one dog named Scooby was killed, and a black cat named Zoe remains missing, the outlet reports.
