Monroe Woman, 81, Dies Of Injuries From 3-Car Crash
An 81-year-old Monroe Township woman died Sunday from injuries she sustained in a three-car crash on Route 1 in South Brunswick, authorities said. Theresa Dowling succumbed to her injuries Sunday at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in New Brunswick, South Brunswick police said. Dowling was driving a 2017 Lexus westbound on Henderson Road at 10:47 a.m. Friday when she failed to stop for a red light, police said. Two men have been arrested in connection with a three-car crash that resulted in the death of a 19-year-old woman from Milltown last month, authorities said. Felicity B. Eden, 19, who was driving one of the cars involved in a chain reaction collision on May 24, was pronounced dead at the scene, Middlesex County Acting Prosecutor Christopher L.C. Health officials on Monday updated a list of every longterm care facility in New Jersey with coronavirus cases -- accounting for more than 50 percent of the state's total. Altogether, there are more than 500 nursing homes and healthcare facilities with COVID-19 cases and fatalities in the state. These NJ ShopRite Stores Imposing Customer Limit Amid Coronavirus Spread
More than two dozen New Jersey ShopRite stores have implemented customer limits in an effort to stop the spread of coronavirus. The maximum number of customers will be roughly 30 percent of the store’s regular maximum occupancy, ShopRite said in a statement. A security guard will be stationed at entrances and exits to track the number of customers coming in and out. Only one entrance per store will remain open. The senior population is the focus for Stage House Tavern in Somerset amid growing COVID-19 fears. The tavern has closed its takeout and catering services to the general public in order to feed the elderly in need. Keith Kuzmenko died on Feb. 9 at his home in Warren. He was 27 years old. Born in New Brunswick, Keith worked as an electrician with Atlantis Electric in Somerset. Keith was on the wrestling team and graduated from Watchung Hills Regional High School. He was also a member of Our Lady of the Mount Church in Warren, his obituary says. A 19-year-old Somerset man has been charged in a series of Franklin Township shootings, authorities said. Omar Griggs was taken into custody Wednesday after an investigation identified him as a suspect in two separate shootings that occurred on Monday, Dec. 30 on Barker Road and Tuesday, Dec. 31 on King Road in Somerset, authorities said. Four people were taken into custody with a fifth at large after a high-speed pursuit and crash as the result of a series of shootings that left one person dead in Somerset County, authorities said.
