Rob Ettlinger, Co-Owner Of Westchester Auto Repair Shop, Dies At 57 South Salem resident Robert A. Ettlinger, who grew up in Hastings-on-Hudson, died on Thursday, July 19 after battling cancer. He was 57. He was a proud co-owner with Bobby Robustelli of A&A Auto Clinic in North White Plains and was a much-loved member of the community.  He enjoyed watching his sons wrestle and his daughter play soccer. Rob had a ready smile; he made friends easily, even in the hospital. Quick Work Of Firefighters Saves South Salem Home Quick action by firefighters from the Vista and South Salem fire departments saved a family's home following a basement fire. The fire started around 8:15 p.m. Tuesday at 87 East St., in South Salem, according to Vista Fire Chief Jeff Peck.  Once on scene, firefighters found smoke showing from inside the home and quickly determined the fire was coming from the basement.
