A Long Island man was killed in a two-vehicle head-on crash after losing control of his truck and hitting another vehicle head-on.
It took place around 6:30 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 10 in Southampton, on County Road 104 near Pleasure Drive.

A former Long Island bookkeeper has been arrested and charged with allegedly stealing more than $15,000 from a parent-teacher organization.
Suffolk County resident Maureen Cussen, also known as Maureen O’Leary, age 55, of Sag Harbor, was arrested on Wednesday, Feb. 2 by the Southampton Police.
During her arraignment, Cussen pleaded not guilty to felony third-degree grand larceny.

Long Island Man Busted For Stealing Some $30K From Business, Police Say
A Long Island man has been charged with robbery for allegedly breaking into a business and stealing more than $30,000.
Shane S. Filasky, age 46, of East Hampton, was arrested on Friday, Jan. 28, said Lt. Gregory Schaefer, of the Southampton Police.
According to Schaefer, Filasky was arrested following an investigation into a robbery at Montoya Communicdtaion in East Hampton on Wednesday, Jan. 26, in which $30,8000 was stolen.
Filasky was arrested after he was released by the Suffolk County Police where he had been arrested on drug charges.

A Long Island man was arrested after allegedly threatening police officers with two knives after being involved in a domestic dispute.
The incident took place around 10:30 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 19 when Southampton Police responded to a call from a woman saying she was involved in a domestic dispute in Hampton Bays.

Missing Southampton Kayaker Found Dead
A Long Island man who went missing on his kayak with his dog has been found dead.
John Jackman, age 55, of Southampton, was reported missing to police around 6:30 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 16 after taking out his kayak with his dog.
According to Southampton Police, family and friends became concerned after Jackman's dog returned home, but he did not.
Southampton Town Police Patrol Units, Community Response Units, Southampton Town Bay Constables, Suffolk County Aviation Unit, and Southampton Fire Department responded to the area to search for Jackman, police said.

Man Accused Of Exposing Himself, Committing Lewd Act On Long Island Beach, Police Say
A man was arrested for allegedly exposing himself at a Long Island beach and then committing a lewd act.
Franciso Hernandez, age 22, was arrested on Saturday, Sept. 4, after police received a complaint call in Southampton.
The incident took place around 3:15 p.m., at the West Landing Road beach access, according to Southampton Police Sgt. Eric Sickles.
After committing the lewd act Hernandez left in his vehicle. Police canvassed the area and located him, Sickles said.
