Up To A Foot Of Snow Falls In Fairfield County Updated: FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. — When you looked outside Thursday, all you could likely see was blowing snow and giant piles of the white stuff.  But very few people want to trudge out into the storm with a ruler to measure how much snow had fallen across Fairfield County. And as it turns out, some of the snow totals were higher than expected from the nor'easter. A few locations in Connecticut recorded over a foot of snow.
