Police have arrested a suspected shooter more than five months after a 54-year-old woman was found dead in Northeast DC, authorities announced.
Southeast DC resident Bobby Gupton, 25, has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder while armed in connection to the fatal shooting of Tavonayna Glenn, who has no fixed address, in June, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.

Not even an ankle monitor could stop James P. Jones from gunning down his roommate in Southeast DC earlier this year, according to a new indictment.
Jones, 42, was indicted this week following his arrest in February for his alleged role in the premeditated murder of District residents David Wright, 57, and Nathaniel Howard, 54, who were found dead in the home they shared, federal authorities announced.
