Beloved Sussex County HS Senior, Aspiring Chef Kyle Porzuelo Dies After Leukemia Battle, 18
Beloved Sussex County high school senior and aspiring chef Henri 'Kyle' Porzuelo died at Morristown Medical Center on Monday, Feb. 7 after a valiant battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. He was 18.
Born in Newton, Porzuelo grew up in Andover Township, his obituary says.
Porzuelo was months away from finishing his senior year at Newton High School. He was an aspiring chef planning to attend the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park.
Porzuelo was also known for his love of music, theatre, and the arts.

One person was killed and another was flown to a nearby hospital with serious injuries following a head-on crash in Sussex County Sunday evening, police said.
Erin Moore, 41, was driving a blue Hyundai Tuscon southbound on Route 181 near Signal Hill Trail in Sparta when she collided with a gray 540i BMW driven by Attila Princz, 41, around 5:30 p.m., Sparta Police Lt. John Lamon said.
Princz, of Sparta, had been driving northbound when his vehicle crossed over into the southbound lane, striking Moore’s vehicle head-on, Lamon said.

Sussex County native and beloved father and uncle Brian K. Ashley died unexpectedly on Sept. 9 at the age of 39.
Born in Newton, Ashley worked as a certified heavy equipment operator at Service Concrete in Hamburg and later spent five years with Fields of Green Landscaping in Sparta before moving to Milford, PA, his obituary says.

Two women were charged with prostitution after a raid at a Long Island massage parlor.
The investigation into You Ya Foot Spa in Lindenhurst, located on North Wellwood Avenue, happened at around 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 13.
