On Saturday, Sept., 28, State Police from Brewster arrested Jason M. Curnen, 26, of Bedford, for Aggravated DWI. He was traveling on I-684 in the town of Southeast, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.

On Friday, Sept. 6, State Police from Hawthorne arrested Miriam Regan, 53, of Mount Pleasant, for DWI. She was traveling on the Sprain Brook Parkway in Mount Pleasant, when she was involved in a motor vehicle crash. Investigation revealed she was under the influence of alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.

Driver Who Caused Two-Vehicle Sprain Brook Crash Flees Scene, State Police Say
A driver who allegedly caused a two-vehicle crash on the Sprain Brook Highway, closing three lanes, fled the scene, state police said.
The crash took place around 2:05 a.m., Monday, Sept. 9, when one of the vehicles was allegedly cut-off by a Kia on the highway in Greenburgh, causing the vehicle to brake sharply and was then rear-ended, said Trooper AJ Hicks.
The Kia fled the scene. There were no serious injuries, Hicks said.
The highway reopened shortly after.
