Motorists are advised that two lanes on the southbound Sprain Brook Parkway, between Route 100C and the Interstate 287 East exit toward White Plains will be closed through 5 p.m. Saturday, April 7, while crews perform important maintenance activities. Police Dish Out 60 Tickets In Latest I-684 Detail
More than 50 tickets were doled out during a special speed enforcement detail conducted by New York State Police troopers on I-684 in northern Westchester on Tuesday. During the special detail on Tuesday, Feb. 6, troopers in Bedford and North Castle busted 31 motorists for speeding on the interstate, and one driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated. In total, 61 tickets were dished out by troopers during the detail for various violations. Lane closures have been scheduled on the Taconic State Parkway in Westchester County as contracting crews continue work in the area.
