FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. — A total of 15 schools in Fairfield County are among the best 50 public high schools for athletes in Connecticut – including Fairfield Warde High School, which ranks first – according to a new list released by Niche.com. The website analyzes data sets and reviews to produce rankings, report cards and profiles for schools, colleges and places to live. Westport Teens Invited To Join Citizens' Police Academy
WESTPORT, Conn. — Ever wonder what it’s really like to be a Westport police officer? The Westport Police Department will be offering a Citizens’ Police Academy for Westport teens beginning Feb. 27. Participants will learn about the role of the police department in the community and laws affecting teens. The academy can accommodate up to 24 Westport high school students who will participate in classes led by trained, experienced police officers that take them through various aspects of law enforcement.
