Kilo Of Heroin, Pounds Of Pot, Stolen Gun, Pills Discovered In Stratford Bust
An investigation into drug sales in Fairfield County has led to the arrest of two men and netted the discovery of a kilo of heroin, guns, pounds of pot, and pills.
Kevin Tobar, 23, and Jonathan Matos, 28, both of Stratford, were arrested on Tuesday, Jan. 7, by Stratford Police, said Capt. Frank Eannotti.
According to Eannotti, the two were arrested on a warrant by the Stratford Narcotics Vice and Intel Unit, with the assistance of the Bridgeport Police Task Force as well as the FBI Safe Streets Task Force.

Man Nabbed With Stolen Weapon, Drugs During Traffic Stop, Stratford Police Say
A 29-year-old man was nabbed with alleged drugs and a stolen gun during a stop by Stratford Police vice and intel officers.
Mark Peeples, of Bridgeport, was stopped around 1 p.m., on Thursday, Sept. 29, when officers were conducting targeted patrol in the area of Success Avenue, due to street robberies as well as narcotics sales and a recent homicide, said Stratford Police Capt. Frank Eannotti.
When officers approached Peeples' vehicle, who was stopped for darkly tinted windows and a canceled registration, they immediately detected an odor of marijuana, Eannotti said.

Teens Harassing Residents, Blocking Traffic Caught After Fleeing From Scene, Stratford PD Says
Four people were arrested, including two juveniles, for allegedly loitering, harassing residents, and blocking traffic in Stratford.
The four, including, Andre Larson, 19, and Elijah Sampson, 20, both of Bridgeport were arrested on Friday, July 19, along with two local juveniles ages 14 and 15., said Stratford Police Capt. Frank Eannotti.
The group was approached by an officer who was investigating a complaint of cyclists who have been loitering in and near Longbrook Park blocking traffic and harassing residents, Eannotti said.

Stratford Felon Nabbed With Guns, Drugs, Police Say
A 30-year-old man was arrested following an investigation into the sale of narcotics, as well as firearms, in the Stratford and Bridgeport areas.
Manuel Rivas, of Stratford, was arrested on June 19, during the execution of search warrants of his home and vehicle, said Stratford Police Capt. Frank Eannotti.
