Two people were killed in a head-on crash on Maryland Route 4 after a driver going the wrong way slammed into another vehicle, state police said.
Tameka Patterson, 46, of Suitland, and Nana Arthur, 40, of Upper Marlboro, have been identified by Maryland State Police as the two killed on Sunday morning in the crash.
The fatal wreck happened around 3:17 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 14, on Route 4 at Woodyard Road, where troopers from the Forestville Barrack responded, according to officials.

Deandre Stevenson, 37, of Suitland, died on June 16, after suffering critical injuries in a Regency Park Court shooting the Prince George’s County Police Department confirmed on Tuesday.

A deadly shooting inside a Prince George’s County apartment has left one man dead, another fighting for his life, and a suspect behind bars, police said.
James Stewart, 35, of Upper Marlboro, is charged with first-degree murder in connection with Tuesday's double shooting that killed Myandre McBride, 32, of Suitland, according to the Prince George’s County Police Department.

Two suspects have been charged with murder after the shooting of a 31-year-old man in Prince George’s County, police announced Monday, March 25.
