Putnam To Participate in Statewide Stop-dwiCrackdown Putnam County officials are preparing for the state-wide “STOP-DWI” enforcement campaign occurring over Super Bowl weekend. In an effort to crack down on impaired drivers, the Putnam County Sheriff's Office will be increasing enforcement efforts through sobriety checkpoints starting Friday, Feb. 1 through 4 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 4. Officials encourage those attending Super Bowl events to choose a designated driver or make plans to ensure a safe ride home.
