A 41-year-old Connecticut man was killed by a hit-and-run driver and left lying on the roadway as the driver fled. The crash took place in New Haven County around 8:30 p.m., Wednesday, June 7 at the intersection of Haven Street and Clay Street. A 20-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a two-vehicle crash on a Long Island highway. Emergency crews were called at around 7:30 a.m. Friday, March 17, with reports of a crash in Islandia, on Veterans Memorial Highway near East Suffolk Avenue, according to Suffolk County Police. An Amber Alert has for a toddler abducted out of York County was called off after the girl was found safe Sunday, June 5, authorities said. Mya Campbell was abducted by Maria McKenzie, 27, out of Springettsbury Township, police said. She was last seen at 3:23 p.m. on Concord Road. Mya was last seen wearing a pink, green and yellow polka dot dress. McKenzie is in a brown jacket and is believed to be driving a silver 2005 Suzuki XL7, license plate LXG5500.
