Dozens of motorists were busted by New York State Police troopers on Tuesday during a special distracted driving enforcement operation on the Sprain Brook Parkway in Westchester County. State and local law enforcement agencies have been running enforcement details for months, including several for distracted drivers on major county roadways. A 35-year-old man has been sentenced to four months shock incarceration probation for the 2015 Taconic State Parkway crash in Northern Westchester that killed four people, including his 2-year-old daughter, Westchester County District Attorney Anthony A. A Dutchess County man took a police K-9 Unit on a wild foot chase through the woods after being involved in a crash that landed his Lexus in a ditch off the Taconic State Parkway.
