Prosecutor: Twins' Father Hid Car In Route 46 Hit-Run Death
(UPDATE) The father of twins charged in the hit-and-run death of a 28-year-old Teaneck man as he crossed Route 46 near the Teterboro Walmart last month hid the car at his Wallington home, said authorities who arrested him. Detectives on Thursday found the 2013 black Ford Focus at the home of John Bialek, , a 52-year-old train mechanic, Acting Bergen County Prosecutor Dennis Calo said Friday afternoon. LODI, N.J. -- A Lodi couple running a drug trafficking operation from their home had 11½ pounds of cocaine and more than 1,900 pills for sale when Paterson police nabbed them and a Prospect Park accomplice with help from the DEA, authorities said. A local Pit Bull whose owner recently died has found a new home with a Ridgefield police officer. Kevin Nebbia of Cliffside Park met Spanky while working. He and others in his department had been responding to calls in the dog's neighborhood over the past year.
