At 5:08 a.m., troopers responded to the Garden State Parkway North in Hazlet Township after a Kia Forte traveling northbound, lost directional control, veered off the roadway to the left and struck multiple trees, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said.
