4-Car, Tractor Trailer Crash Jams Route 422
A four-car crash involving a tractor-trailer jammed the westbound side of Route 422 in Montgomery County Thursday afternoon. The trailer reportedly went through a guardrail and into the eastbound lanes around 2:50 p.m. near mile marker 170 in Limerick Township, reports show. The trailer was apparently blocking both sides of the highway, according to initial reports. A sedan and two other cars were also involved, according Pennsylvania State Trooper William Butler. ID Released For Man Killed In Crash On Newburgh-Beacon Bridge As Police Search For Driver
New York State Police have identified a man who was killed after being hit by a tractor-trailer on the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge as they search for the vehicle and driver involved. The incident took place around 11:27 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 27, after Stephen Tomlins, 41, of Beacon, was seen by the New York State Bridge Authority by bridge security cameras walking on the southern span of the bridge, said Trooper AJ Hicks. Tractor-Trailer Driver Injured After Hitting Another Truck In Westchester
A tractor-trailer driver was injured after hitting another tractor-trailer parked on the side of a stretch of the New York State Thruway in Westchester. The incident took place around 1 a.m., Sunday, Dec. 13, in Yonkers, said the New York State Police. According to the state police, the injured driver, who had been extricated, was traveling northbound on I-87 in Yonkers when the vehicle hit another tractor-trailer parked on the shoulder. : Tractor Trailer Seriously Injures Dover Man In Route 80 Hit-Run
A 54-year-old man sustained serious injuries after being struck by a tractor trailer that fled the scene early Friday morning on Route 80 in Parsippany, authorities said. The Dover man was taken to Morristown Medical Center after being struck near milepost 42.3 on the westbound side of the highway around 3:05 a.m., New Jersey State Police Trooper Alejandro Goez said. State Police: Chester Man Killed In Tractor Trailer Crash
A 91-year-old Chester man was killed after hitting the back of a tractor-trailer parked on the shoulder of I-78, state police said. Albert Knight was headed westbound around 11:40 a.m. Tuesday when his car veered out of the right lane, hitting the truck in pulled over in Warren Township near milepost 38.9, NJ.com reports. Knight was pronounced dead at the scene and the truck driver was not injured, the article says.
