Overturned Tractor Trailer In Hardwick Backs Up Route 80 Westbound
All lanes were shut on Route 80 westbound after a tractor trailer overturned in Hardwick near the Worthington State Park exit Friday evening. One Killed In Tractor-Trailer Crash On I-91
A 41-year-old man was the victim of a fatal single-vehicle crash after losing control of a tractor-trailer on I-91. Ashley L. Bennett, of Uniondale on Long Island was killed around 4:43 a.m. Friday near Exit 14 in Wallingford, said the Connecticut State Police. According to the police report, Bennett was traveling northbound on I-91 in the right lane when he swerved off the right shoulder and down the grassy embankment. Connecticut State Troopers are saying it is a miracle no one was killed when a tractor-trailer slammed into the rear of a Toyota on I-95, causing a chain reaction crash with three other tractor-trailers. The crash occurred around 12:20 a.m. Tuesday near exit 43 in West Haven, when the last tractor-trailer did not slow down in time for construction, slamming into the small car, said state police. CT State Police Seek Tips On Fatal Truck-Pedestrian Crash
Connecticut State Police are seeking information from anyone who may have witnessed a pedestrian fatality involving a tractor-trailer on I-91. State police said that at about 6:48 p.m. on Thursday, April 19, troopers responded to I-91 southbound near exit 35 in Windsor. Upon their arrival, troopers found a juvenile female pedestrian suffering from life-threatening injuries after being struck by a tractor-trailer.
