All hands were on deck on Thursday afternoon when there was a reported tractor-trailer crash on I-70 in Maryland that knocked one of the trucks off the road. First responders were called at approximately 2 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 29 to a stretch of I-70 in Washington County, when there was a reported crash near the northbound lanes of I-81 in the town of Halfway. The crash tied up traffic for hours on I-70 as police, fire, and EMS personnel responded to the scene, closing several lanes and an exit ramp. A tractor trailer crash closed a portion of Route 78 in Somerset County during rush hour Monday, Oct. 17. The trailer overturned on the eastbound side of the highway on the Exit 36 ramp in Warren Township around 7:15 a.m., New Jersey State Police Trooper Charles Marchan said. Fatal Trailer Crash Closes Portion Of I-495
A deadly tractor-trailer crash closed Interstate 495 in Virginia early Sunday, Sept. 11. The truck was heading north when it ran off the roadway, struck a guardrail and then a pole near Exit 44/Georgetown Pike just after 6 a.m. in Fairfax County, Virginia State Police said. 2nd Tractor-Trailer Rollover In 2 Hours At Same Exit Closes I-81 In Central Pennsylvania
Two tractor-trailers rolled over at the same exit on Interstate 81 on Thursday, September, 1, according to Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. The first crash happened in the southbound lanes between exit 14 and exit 10 in Franklin County around 8:30 a.m., according to PennDOT. This crash cleared at 10:20 a.m. but within minutes a second tractor-trailer rollover crash happened at the same exit.
