Tractor-Trailer Topples Two Poles On Route 46, KOs Power To Teterboro Muni Building
A tractor-trailer downed two utility poles -- and with them two transformers -- Tuesday morning outside the Teterboro Municipal Building on westbound Route 46. Utility workers said they expect power to the building to remain out for the day and that it would likely be "well into the evening" before their work is completed, authorities said. The driver got out under his own steam and was OK following the early-morning crash across from Teterboro Airport, responders said. The cause wasn't immediately determined. Moonachie police were investigating.

Two tractor-trailers crashed and burst into flames Thursday morning, drawing emergency departments from several surrounding towns and causing major delays on Route 78, authorities said. The trailers collided and went up in flames in the eastbound lanes near milepost 11 before exit 11 in Bethlehem Township around 4:30 a.m., according to the Pattenburg Volunteer Fire Department. A fiery tractor-trailer crash shut down Route 80 westbound near the parking area of a state forest in Warren County Thursday morning, authorities said. A 33-year-old driver was pronounced dead at the scene of a fiery tractor-trailer crash in Hunterdon County Sunday afternoon, state police said. : Double Tractor-Trailer Crash Scatters Debris Throughout Route 78 In Hunterdon County
A crash involving two tractor-trailers shut down the westbound lanes of Route 78 and scattered debris throughout the highway Thursday afternoon, authorities said. The tractor-trailers collided near the rest stop just before Exit 7 in Bloomsbury, the Stewartsville Volunteer Fire Company said on Facebook. The tractor-trailers were significantly damaged in the crash, which spread debris throughout the highway, authorities said. The Bloomsbury Hose Co. assisted with cleanup while the Pattenburg Rescue Squad provided patient care. The crash remains under investigation.
