Dump Truck Crash Temporarily Shuts Down Route 50 In Fairfax County: Police
Route 50 was shut down for approximately an hour in Fairfax County on Monday morning when a dump truck driver crashed and took down some power lines. At around 6 a.m. on Oct. 7, officers were called to assist at the scene of a single-vehicle crash on the usually-busy roadway near Fair Ridge Drive in Fair Lakes. The crash resulted in Route 50 being closed in both directions on Monday morning while crews made repairs, resulting in major delays and temporary traffic backups until the scene could be cleared. Tractor-Trailer Fire On PA Rt 283 In Mount Joy Causes Delays: PennDOT
A tractor-trailer fire has caused delays on Route 283 on Thursday morning, Oct. 3, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. The fire happened in the westbound lanes of PA Rt 283 between Exit: Pa. 772 – Mount Joy/Manheim And Exit: Rheems/Elizabethtown, according toe PennDOT's 511PA. Emergency crews were called to the fire around 8:45 a.m., 511PA shows. Lane restriction was put in place as crews remained on the scene. Delays continued in the area as of 10:40 a.m. The cause of the fire was not shared and no injuries were reported. Check back here for possible updates.

Motorcycle Club Mourns Loss Of Rider 'BadKarma' Killed In NJ Turnpike Robbinsville Crash
A Pennsylvania-based motorcycle club is mourning the loss of one of its riders who died during a group ride on the NJ Turnpike over the weekend. New Jersey State Police identified the motorcyclist killed in Robbinsville on Saturday, Sept. 14 as Jeff Ford. Sgt. Charles Marchan said that Ford, 42, of Willow Grove, PA, was ejected from his bike in the outer roadway after it overturned in a series of collisions around 3:50 p.m., killing him. Vehicle Slams Into Fence On Rt 30 Ramp: PennDOT
A vehicle crash into a fence at a Route 30 ramp is causing some delays on Monday, Aug. 5, according to PennDOT's 511PA. The crash happened at the Route 30 Westbound on-ramp at Kreutz Creek Road in Hellam Township around 11:15 a.m., according to the York County Department of Emergency Services dispatch log.
