Lane Closures: I-684 In Bedford To Be Affected
A series of upcoming single and double-lane closures on a busy highway in Northern Westchester will interrupt traffic for the majority of the day. The closures will affect Interstate 684 southbound in Bedford between Exit 6 (Route 35) and Exit 5 (Saw Mill River Parkway) on Thursday, June 1, according to the New York State Department of Transportation. The closures will last between 9:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. and will facilitate bridge work.

Tractor-Trailer Flips, Concrete Slab Closes I-195 Ramp
A tractor-trailer overturned and dumped a large concrete slab onto Interstate 195 during the morning rush hour, authorities said. The crash occurred at 8:14 a.m. Tuesda-Feb. 14 on I-195 eastbound exit 28B to Roiute 9 in Howell Township, according to Sgt. Philip Curry, a New Jersey State Police spokesman. The driver was not injured., Curry said. The exit ramp remained closed at noon and would remain closed until the concrete slab can be lifted back onto the trailer, Curry said. Two people are dead following an early morning crash on I-95 in Philadelphia, state police say. Troopers were called to the northbound lanes of mile 25 near the Allegheny Avenue exit just before 1 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 4 for a reported three-vehicle accident, authorities told Daily Voice.
