Roadwork To Affect Danbury Branch Train Service
Roadwork is expected to impact service on the Danbury Branch for consecutive weekends as crews complete a road realignment project, the MTA announced. There is a ramp closure scheduled on the Taconic State Parkway in the Hudson Valley as crews prepare to perform maintenance activities on the roadway in East Fishkill. All lanes both ways were initially closed between Exit 9A (I-684) and Exit 9 (Hutchinson River Parkway) after the incident occurred just before 2 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 14, leading to the shutdown of the highway in both directions.
