Travelers from 19 states with high novel coronavirus (COVID-19) positive testing rates who fail to quarantine for two weeks after arriving in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut could face large fines and, in some cases, even jail time. Hoboken's two-day spike in COVID-19 cases is the highest since mid-May. All but one of the 13 cases were residents who traveled to hot-spot states -- which surging COVID-19 rates, Mayor Ravinder Bhalla said. Latest Projected Snowfall Totals For Fourth Nor'easter Rundown Of School Closures For Wednesday As snow begins to start as a result of the latest Nor'easter, the state has issued a tractor-trailer ban on I-84 from the Pennsylvania state line to the Connecticut state line, in addition to a ban on I-87. The Nor'easter tearing through the area has left thousands without power, hundreds of downed trees and power lines and numerous road closures, resulting in treacherous travel that will continue through Saturday morning.
