Tornado Watch Issued In These 10 NJ Counties
The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Watch for parts of New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Virginia through 12 a.m. Saturday, May 31, with storms expected to begin after 8 p.m. Friday.

Hail: Isolated hail up to ping pong ball size.
Wind: Gusts up to 65 mph possible.
The watch covers more than 22 million people, including densely populated areas around Philadelphia, Trenton, Atlantic City, Baltimore, Dover, and Virginia Beach.

Trenton Homicide Suspect At Large, Prosecutor Says
A 30-year-old Trenton resident remains at large following a shooting in March, authorities said.
Alfonso Inestroza a.k.a. Franquin Inestroza-Martinez is charged in the Monday, March 17 fatal shooting of Esteban Vicente Sacalxot, a 55-year-old Trenton resident, the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office said.
At 9:30 p.m., officers responded to the 300 block of Dayton Street on a report of multiple bullet holes in a residence, authorities said. While conducting a welfare check, they located Sacalxot, who was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.

A 24-year-old Trenton man was sentenced to 15 months in prison on Thursday, May 22, after previously pleading guilty to making a social media post threatening to shoot white people, authorities said.

A 27-year-old Trenton man was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole on Wednesday, May 21, after being found guilty of intentionally setting a fire in Hamilton Township in 2021 that killed four people, including his baby daughter, authorities said.
